The NOVALAC 1 is a first-stage infant formula, suitable for the nutrition of full-term infants from birth to the sixth month, when breastfeeding is not applied. It is part of a complete range of products, specially designed to meet the nutritional needs of your baby.
In cases of allergy to cow's milk protein or malnourished infants, consult a specialist.
For infants over 6 months, with the consent of your doctor, weaning foods should be gradually introduced alongside NOVALAC 2.
In NOVALAC 1, the Ca/P ratio is close to the levels of breast milk, and medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) constitute 14.9% of the total fatty acids (rapid gastric emptying) in order to maintain proper intestinal function and prevent the infant from facing constipation after weaning.
To NOVALAC 1, wanting to mimic the carbohydrate profile of breast milk, contains oligosaccharides in its composition, which promote the absorption of calcium from the intestine and help the development of Lactobacillus bifidus, strengthening the body's defense against pathogenic microorganisms of the intestine.
Preparation Instructions
Always wash your hands before preparing a bottle. Each bottle must be prepared separately. Use only the measuring spoon provided. The infant formula must be consumed within one hour of preparation.
Wash the bottle, nipple, and all utensils to be used and sterilize them in boiling water.
Boil clean drinking water for 5 minutes and let it cool to 40 °C or heat clean fresh metal water with low metal content to 40 °C
Fill the bottle with the required amount of water.
Add the correct amount of powder into the bottle using the provided measuring spoon. Always use one scoop per 30 ml of water.
Secure the cap of the bottle and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
Let it cool to lukewarm temperature (37 °C). Check the temperature on the back of your hand before feeding. Any leftover milk after feeding should be discarded immediately.
Storage Instructions
Close the box after each use with the provided cap.
Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light.
Use within 3 weeks of opening.
Do not use after the expiration date printed on the bottom of the box.
Do not prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before use.
