Almiron AR της Nutricia
Special formula for infants 0-12 months with regurgitations
The Almiron AR is an anti-regurgitation formula and is recommended in cases where the baby's stomach has difficulty holding the milk during feeding and thus causes regurgitations or spit-ups. This happens as the baby's digestive system has not fully matured. The Almiron AR will help relieve the above symptom.
The composition of Almiron AR contains sesame flour which makes it thicker, so the milk stays in the baby's stomach. Almiron AR may cause a slight change in your baby's stools, but there is no cause for concern.
Like all other milks in the Almiron range, it offers your baby all the essential nutrients it needs for its development.
The Almiron AR is specially designed to fully meet the nutritional needs of the infant from birth up to the 6th month in combination with breast milk or as exclusive nutrition.
Nutricia recommends the milk Almiron AR which contains:
the unique blend of oligosaccharides GOS/FOS in a ratio of 9:1
polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPs)
nucleotides
sesame flour that makes the milk thicker
low fat content to increase the frequency of stools
protein with an increased ratio of casein to slow down digestion
The Almiron AR is administered only on the recommendation of the pediatrician.
Due to its thick composition we recommend:
to always prepare the milk before a meal and not earlier, because it will thicken more if left.
to use a different teat (with a larger hole) or a cream teat.
Caution: Not to be given to infants with gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
