A valuable health and wellness ally

The Schweden Bitter elixir (Schweden Bitter) is the crowning achievement of Maria Treben and the hallmark of the eponymous house. It is an alcoholic extract of 16 herbs - a 100% natural product - whose therapeutic properties are enhanced by their combination. It has been globally recognized as the main ally of any treatment, effectively contributing to the maintenance of mental and physical health and well-being without side effects or contraindications.

Its recipe dates back to the famous physician Paracelsus, who in the 16th century created a herbal elixir for longevity, with bitter roots of medicinal herbs as the main ingredients. This recipe was found in an old manuscript, in the archive of the long-lived Swedish Dean of Medicine Dr. Samst, at the beginning of the last century. Dr. Samst lived in the 18th century and died at the age of 104 in a horse riding accident. His ancestors, to whom the recipe of the elixir was already known, were also long-lived. However, Schweden Bitter was not to be widely disseminated until the 20th century, when the world-renowned botanist Maria Treben (1907 – 1991), made it known to the whole world through her widely translated book “Health from God’s Pharmacy”. The “Old Manuscript” - included in the above book - explains in 46 points how Schweden Bitter cures every disease.

Schweden Bitter contains: Angelica, Absinthe, Manna, Myrrh, Zaphora, Zentoria, natural Camphor, Savory, Carlina, Pepper Root, Licorice, Rosemary, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg, Honey.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Internal intake

    – Preventively, according to the old manuscript, we take every morning and evening, 1-2 teaspoons diluted in water, tea or herbal infusion.
    – For malaise of any kind, we can take 3 tablespoons diluted in water.
    – For serious conditions, we take 2 to 3 tablespoons as follows: 1 tablespoon diluted in half a cup of herbal drink (125 ml), half of it is taken half an hour before and the other half half an hour after each meal.
    – Do not drink milk and avoid fresh dairy products for at least half an hour before and after taking the Schweden Bitter internally.

External use (applications–compresses)

    – Depending on the area, soak a piece of cotton or gauze in Schweden Bitter and apply to the affected area, which should have been previously well covered with animal fat or calendula ointment. Place a larger piece of plastic film on top, so as not to stain clothes. Then wrap with a piece of cloth or use a bandage.
You can leave the compress on the area, depending on the illness, for 2 to 4 hours. If it is tolerable, the compress can remain all night. When it is removed, powder the skin with talcum powder.
    – If, nevertheless, people with sensitive skin show irritation, the compresses should be used for a shorter period of time or omitted for a while. People allergic to plastic should not use it. Never forget to lubricate the skin beforehand. If itching occurs, use calendula ointment.
    – For headaches and dizziness, frequent inhalations and rinsing of the base of the skull or compress on the head are recommended.
    – In case of inflammation, redness or pain in the eyes, moisten the corners of the eyes intermittently with a soaked cotton swab or place a gauze soaked in Schweden Bitter diluted with distilled water on closed eyelids.
    – For earaches or ringing in the ears, place a cotton swab soaked in Schweden Bitter inside the ear.
    – In case of a burn, it is immediate help, by making regular wipes (often moistening).
