Multi Guard ® Sport is the most complete and comprehensive multivitamin supplement for athletes and individuals who follow a demanding exercise program. Containing 26 vitamins and minerals in combination with the addition of specially selected antioxidants, it forms the ideal basis for a complete sports nutrition program.
The main feature of Multi Guard Sport is the addition of Magnesium at high levels (376mg, per 2 tablets) since in addition to the important role that Magnesium plays in energy production and muscle health, its clinical deficiency is manifested with muscle pain after the end of the training, while the supplementary administration of Magnesium is associated with a reduction in weakness and fatigue that follow a demanding exercise program.
In addition to Magnesium, the selection of the remaining metals and vitamins contained in Multi Guard Sport was made based on the specific nutritional needs of athletes. Specifically, it provides high levels of vitamins D3 and K (contribute to bone health), A, C and E (strong antioxidants), B vitamins (B1,B2,B3,B5,B12,folic acid,choline and inositol,PABA -contribute to the metabolism of carbohydrates and to the health of the nervous system), selenium (powerful antioxidant),calcium iron,manganese, iodine, zinc, copper and chromium. Regarding chromium, Multi Guard ® Sport contains 200μg, as this amount is related to the maintenance of normal glucose levels postprandially.
Another unique feature of Multi- Guard ® Sport is the powerful combination of phytochemical active antioxidants, i.e. substances of plant origin with powerful antioxidant action.
