Almiron Pepti 1 of Nutricia
Special formula for infants from 0-6 months with diagnosed allergy to cow's milk protein
Almiron Pepti 1 is indicated for the dietary management of cow's milk protein allergy. It is also recommended for the dietary management of severe colic, due to the extensively hydrolyzed protein it contains.
Almiron Pepti 1 is specifically designed to meet the nutritional needs of the infant from birth to the 6th month as exclusive nutrition. After the 6th month, it is recommended to continue the infant's nutrition with Almiron Pepti 2.
Almiron Pepti 1 is a food for special medical purposes in accordance with European Directive 1999/21/EC (FSMP).
Almiron Pepti 1 should be used under medical advice and supervision.
Like all other milk formulas in the Almiron range, it provides your baby with all the essential nutrients it needs for its development.
Nutricia recommends the Almiron Pepti 1 formula which contains Pronutra, a blend of ingredients:
scGOS/lcFOS (9:1)
polyunsaturated fatty acids LCPs (AA and DHA)
Almiron Pepti 1 contains scGOS/lcFOS in a ratio of 9:1, in an amount consistent with the European Directive on infant formulas (2006/141/EC).
It also contains:
extensively hydrolyzed whey protein for better tolerance by the infant
low lactose content compared to infant formulas
nucleotides
Almiron Pepti 1 can be given in combination with the infant cream Nutricia Allergy Care, suitable for infants with diagnosed cow's milk protein allergy.
