The Solgar Fish Gel Ubiquinol is a dietary supplement with 100mg Kaneka Ubiquinol™, the active (reduced) form of coenzyme Q10, in soft gelatin fish capsules of sustainable origin.
Coenzyme Q10 exists in two chemical forms: oxidized (ubiquinone) and reduced (ubiquinol). Ubiquinol is found in greater amounts in metabolically active tissues, such as skeletal muscles, heart muscle, and liver cells. In younger, healthy adults, the conversion of ubiquinone to ubiquinol occurs almost immediately, while with age, CoQ10 levels decrease and the conversion becomes less effective.
The product does not currently have an approved health claim by the EFSA under Regulation (EC) 1924/2006.
For adults, 1 soft capsule daily, preferably with meals. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
