The Solgar Vitamin E 1000IU is a dietary supplement with natural vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol from soy) with mixed tocopherols, in softgels. Each capsule provides vitamin E 1000IU (671mg) and mixed tocopherols 60mg.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. This is the approved health claim based on Regulation (EC) 1924/2006.
The product does not have an approved claim of cardiovascular protection, wound healing, support of the reproductive system, or enhancement of the immune system beyond general cellular protection.
Contains soy — people with soy allergy should avoid it. This is a high dose of vitamin E (1000IU) — do not exceed the recommended dosage, especially if you are taking anticoagulant medications.
1 softgel capsule daily, preferably with meals.
